So, what if Mister Lee signed onto “Star Wars” a few decades earlier? This question came into my head last night and didn’t leave.

Mister Cushing was in his slippers when I was drawing him, so I just showed him from the waist up ahahaha *swatted for referring to obscure film trivia*[link]

I don’t know if that’s Van Helsing or Baron Frankenstein as Tarkin, my brain is too broken to think after drawin’ this. Or maybe it's just Tarkin. I’ll leave it up to you fine fellows to decide if you like.

It's hard to "color" characters who wear all black.

You missed a perfect oppurtunity to make a refrence to Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell , Cause David Prowse who played Vader played the Monster on screen with Cushings Doctor Frankenstein. But fuuny comic anyway.

Oh but it would become too obscure for many people to get it then. I hate to sound like that, but if people don't understand the joke, it's kinda not worth it.

Good point, But Im a firm beliver in high comedy which is its meant to get people to LEARN mor about the joke.Oh well :shrug:

Look the more you have to explain a joke for someone to get it, the less funny it is. It's not anything about "high" or "low" comedy if people just don't know the reference. Let's face it, a lot of folks don't know a thing about the Hammer films, much less about David Prowse being one of Frankenstein's monsters or even being the body of Darth Vader. It would only make sense to me, you, and maybe a few other people who enjoy "obscure" references. Don't mean to unload on you like this, but it's something you've gotta take into account when you do comics that rely on visual gags.

I know. I guess only Hammer fans, Horror nuts,Film Buffs , or Star Wars lovers which I am apart of all, would get it. It probbably just might be my oppinnion cause I feel costume actors dont get any respect. Oh well. You should have ,made Drac dooku though.
